Greendown Shepherd huts are the only hut builders to offer a lease option.

We understand that setting up a glamping site or adding additional accommodation can be costly upfront and we wanted to remove that barrier.

Our lease option reduces the need for large upfront costs that can sometimes be a barrier when owners are looking to add additional stays or set up a new venture.

How Does It Work?

We provide a tried and tested fully equipped Herdsman’s Hut
Dependant on the spec, we select a payment plan starting from £800pm
A dedicated designer will work with you to design a hut in line with your brand
Option to purchase hut at end of term, or return for a new model
Business users only

Corston sockets and switches in your choice of 3 finishes (Antique brass, nickel and brass)
Pooky light fittings with a choice of 100’s of different shades
Handmade double-glazed hardwood casement windows and doors fitted with Somerset made blinds from our selection of bespoke fabrics
Full kitchenette including sink, fridge with box freezer, integrated microwave oven, 2 ring ceramic black hob and ample storage
Bathroom with full sized shower 900 X 800, vanity unit with sink, towel rail and concealed toilet.
12 litres / minute closed LPG boiler to provide hot water
A built-in 4’6” X 6’6” full sized double cabin bed, oak headboard and luxury mattress
Large storage space underneath cabin bed for luggage
4KW Hobbit log burner with log store underneath
Full oak skirtings, architraves and detailing
Hand painted by our paint technicians in F&B colours

Frequent Questions

Is the shepherd hut fully insulated?

Yes. We offer hardwood windows that are double glazed and insulated, underfloor heating and a temperature control thermostat are provided to all customers, ensuring that the hut maintains a comfortable temperature, always.

Can I move into my hut as soon as you are finished?

It depends on the requirements of your hut. However, our 20ft B&B Hut, ‘The Herdsman’ comes fully equipped and ready to use. All that would be left of you to do is to connect the water supply and waste pipe, and plug in the electricity supply.

I might want to move my hut in the future, how manoeuvrable are the huts?

Our huts are built on a steel chassis with a tow eye, enabling you to freely move it around.

Is there a warranty on my shepherd hut?

Every shepherd hut we supply comes with a full one year warranty.

Is there a range of hut sizes available?

Yes, as we build our own chassis we can accommodate any size.

Will I be kept updated during the project?

Yes, we will keep you up to date every step of the way, allowing you to make interior design decisions.
